Lynora Brooke – Associate

Lynora is recognised as one of Australia’s leading conflict management coaches and mediators. She is based in Sydney and brings an extensive background in mentoring, executive coaching, facilitation, mediation and training to her work.


Lynora has over 35 years’ experience in business management, facilitation, consulting, mentoring and coaching. She has worked throughout Australia and overseas in a broad range of countries.

She provides Conflict Management Coaching, Mediation Coaching, Return-to-Work Coaching, facilitated discussion and mediation services for a variety of workplace and commercial conflicts/disputes and specialises in Mentoring and Leadership Coaching with senior executives, with much of her work being in the NSW & Federal public sector. Prior to 2004, her background was in senior business leadership roles in financial services, property and a variety of other sectors.

Between 2008 and 2012 Lynora was a Mentor/Chair with The Executive Connection (TEC) – working with a group of 15 small-medium business owners/CEO’s, in non-competing industries, providing monthly one-to-one coaching/mentoring sessions to each of the 15 executives and facilitating regular group meetings.

Lynora also currently delivers training in Australia and New Zealand for leaders wishing to learn the skills of Conflict Management Coaching and trains a ‘Leader as Workplace Coach’ course to assist managers adopt a coaching approach in their workplace. She also facilitates workplace team coaching, team dynamics assessments, strategic business planning and project and risk reviews.


Approachable, compassionate, adaptable and pragmatic in her facilitation and coach-mentoring style, Lynora is passionate about empowering clients to realise their full potential as learners and leaders.

As a Mentor and Coach, Lynora helps energise her clients by assisting them to identify their passion,
prioritise their goals, formulate effective strategies, lead and manage change, enhance their interpersonal communications, improve their influencing skills, have challenging conversations, manage conflict and plan career progression and transition.
Lynora has considerable experience working in cross-cultural contexts and has done extensive work with various indigenous communities in Australia.

Qualifications and Accreditations

Lynora is certified in the use of various self-assessment and 360-degree profiling tools including:
Conflict Dynamics Profile (CDP), Hogan, Genos Emotional Intelligence and extended DISC. She is an experienced and certified Neuro Semantics Meta Coach, Conflict Management Coach and accredited CINERGY® Conflict Management Coaching trainer, NLP practitioner, nationally accredited Mediator, Mediation Coach and Facilitator. Lynora sits on several Dispute Resolution panels.

Lynora is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI), International Association on Workplace Bullying & Harassment (IAWBH), Resolution Institute, Institute of Managers and Leaders (IML), Sydney Facilitators Network and the International Society of Neuro Semantics.
